Indications
For the relief of acid indigestion due to gastric reflux
Mechanism of Action
Sodium Alginate forms a protective barrier (raft) over the stomach contents, stopping acid from rising and soothing the burning sensation in the chest.
Active Ingredients
- Sodium Alginate
- Calcium Carbonate
- Sodium Bicarbonate
Instruction for use
- Take after meals and at bedtime.
- Adults & Children 12 years and over: Take 10-20 ml (two to four 5ml spoonfuls up to 4 times a day).
- Children 6 to 12 years: Take 5-10ml (one to two 5ml spoonfuls).
Side effects
Side effects of this product are extremely rare. (Less than 1 in 10,000 patients may experience an allergic reaction to the ingredients. Allergic reaction may include skin rash, difficulty in breathing, dizziness or swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat).
Warnings & Precautions
- Not recommended for children under 6 years.
- Not contraindicated during breastfeeding and pregnancy.
- If you are advised to follow a low-sodium diet, you should consult a doctor before using this product.
- If you forget to take the product in one meal, there is no need to double the amount taken in the next meal.
- Shake well before use.
Storage
- Store below 30℃.
- Protect from freezing.
- Use within 6 months after opening closure.
